• We have formed a new company, "LiveWires Automation Ltd", registered in New Zealand, number 2321352.  Our intention is that all new contracts will be placed with this new company.  For our customers, this should just be an administrative change - we will supply the same services as before.  Contact Us if you require more information to set the new company up on your accounting system. • From LabVIEW 8.0 onwards, LabVIEW installers can install not only the main LabVIEW program (or several LabVIEW programs) but also drivers that the program uses such as  the "DAQmx" data acquisition drivers or serial communication drivers. (27/11/2007)

• We are continuing to support Applied Microengineering, who manufacture bonding systems for MEMS devices.  We are extending the degree of automation of their systems,  (08/11/2007)
• We have recently written a program for Elster Metering Ltd for rapid testing of their water meters.  This uses a National Instruments FPGA card and also communicates with 2 devices using serial communications and reads and writes to Excel files and an Informix database across a network.  (08/11/2007) 
• We have recently purchased TeamViewer - a program that allows us to connect to our customers' PCs over the Internet (much like with PC Anywhere).  This is proving very popular - it allows us to diagnose problems and transfer program updates at short notice.  (08/11/2007)
• We are currently assisting a company who make actuators for the aerospace industry.  It's good to be able to help companies out when they get in a tight spot!  (10/02/2007)
• We are continuing to support Electrolab who make small-scale fermenters for the pharmaceutical industry (10/02/2007).
• We have recently completed some software for an ATE system for Trelleborg in Coventry (10/02/2007).
